I decided to invest in some tools to allow me to do clay sculpting at home. I got a set of tools and a banding wheel.
There is such a large assortment of tools--to scrape, smooth, scratch, etc...I'm not sure what the function is of each, but I'm sure I'll eventually find out once the need to accomplish a task comes up.
The banding wheel is a nice addition. It will enable me to rotate a piece as I work on it without having to move it.
I've got my eye on some additional tools, but I think this is a good start.
