I found the idea for this project while browsing online at various design/DIY websites and decided to try it out myself. The project is easy and quick which sounds perfect for me!
The basic idea is to use painter's tape to create a grid design. Then you paint on top of the grid and pull off the tape to reveal a white stripes underneath.
It was great not having to worry about "staying within the lines" when painting in addition to the anticipation of seeing the final result. Also, you can easily try out new designs a different color combinations.
