One of my best excuses for not doing more painting is that I don't have the right set up for painting. Part of that is still true. I don't have space with the right lighting or flooring, but I'll take this one step at a time.
For now, I've decided to start off by creating an art cart, a place to consolidate and organize my paints, brushes and other tools. After searching online for some inspiration, I decided to purchase an Ikea cart.
To my surprise, my art supplies didn't take up as much space as I thought it would in the cart. Is that a sign that I should go out and purchase more paints??
It's a start at the very least. Now the art supplies are out and in the open which makes it a more visible reminder that I need to do more art. Next is to get the easel up and lay out the tarp.
