No one can deny that these are challenging times right now. Everyone's stressed out, angry, worried, depressed. I used to be able to go on Facebook to be entertained by lighthearted memes and interesting updates from friends, but there's so much going on in the news that it's hard to get away from the craziness. On one hand you want to stay on top of what's happening to be informed, but on the other hand, it can quickly spiral out of control and you get pulled into the tension.
That's why I'm going to try to keep things simple for while, go back to simpler times. I recently purchased a 1000 piece puzzle with colorful Cinque Terra as the backdrop. I haven't worked on a puzzle in ages, so we'll see how far I get. The most important thing for me is to refocus my attention at least for a bit and feel like I'm making progress towards something.
