With spring here, we decided it was time to spruce up the plants in the front of the house. The planter had been left empty for a while so it was a chance to fill up the space with some greenery.
Though water-saving wasn't as big a concern as it had been one year ago, we settled on succulents because frankly we're a bit lazy and want some hardy plants that won't need much attention. Though I would love some prettier plants outside, experience has shown me that we don't have the right environment, skill, time or energy to take care of high-maintenance plants.
So you see our plant layout above. We tried to intersperse color and shapes evenly though out the planter. Let's see how it'll look as it grows.
