![]() Here's another spread from my sketchbook. For these two pages, I started off just trying to work with making marks on the page. It's interesting how there are some marks that I regularly use like dashes and S-shaped curls, and I have to challenge myself to think of new lines/marks to create. There are endless possibilities, but it's harder than it looks (at least to me) to push myself to expand my visual vocabulary.

![]() I've been working on another granny square blanket. Here's a photo of the individual squares which I will be attaching together to create the blanket. Compared to my first granny square blanket, the color scheme this time features a lot of greens with some yellow and magenta thrown in. I'll post the finished product when it's done. ![]() I volunteer at SFMOMA helping to introduce art projects to families. Each time I volunteer, I always try to do the activity myself. I feel more confident explaining the project if I've done it myself first. I can't imagine not doing it before explaining it to others. Anyway, here's one from the latest volunteer experience, a collage project. |
