![]() This is the final painting in my series. I'm still undecided which direction I should position this painting, but since this was how I took the photo, I've leave it as is with this orientation. In one of my future posts, I'll show a photo of all three paintings together.

![]() This is the second painting in my 3 part series inspired by a trip to Spain. For this series, I limited my colors to white, black, red and yellow. What I like best about some of my more abstract paintings is that there is no "right" way to hang the painting. Which way is up? It's totally up to you and what you think looks best. So with three paintings in the series, there are many different ways to hang the paintings. Vertically? Horizontally? In what order? In what direction? If you tire of one look, it's easy to change it. ![]() Part of my new year's resolution this year was to complete seven paintings. So far, I've done four. Here's one that's part of a series. I'll post the other part of the series in future posts. Part of the challenge of my paintings is figuring out which direction to hang it. Or, maybe that's part of the fun. Even though I painted them myself, it's a discovery when I turn the painting in different directions and see different things. |
