Here are the rest of the drawings for November. One more month to go.

New month, new set of drawings. Here are the first set of drawings. I've been playing around with more muted colors.
Though there was endless souvenir buying options in Japan, I surprisingly didn't buy much. Perhaps I was overwhelmed by all the options around me.
One souvenir that I did bring back however, was a goshuincho, translated into honorable red stamp book. It's used to collect stamps/calligraphy from each shrine or temple you visit. Costs around 300 yen for each stamp. It was a nice way to document each shrine and temple visit and it was fun to see the different calligraphy styles from each location. It's a unique souvenir which I hope to fill up with more stamps the next time I visit Japan. I was looking forward to staying at home and chilling out today. I didn't really feel like going to the ceramics studio, but I made myself go anyway. I had some pieces that I needed to check on.
Each time I go to the studio, I like to leave knowing that I was productive. Specifically, I like to leave after I've made a satisfactory piece. That type of attitude doesn't always work out because the more I focus on getting something out, the more stressed I get and the more likely the piece falls apart on the wheel. Being tense doesn't help. I've also discovered that hearing one-sided phone conversations really bug me when I'm working on the wheel. I don't care about your friend's baby shower! I need to focus less on the end result and more on the progress. It's a struggle, but I hope to just continue going in and working at it regularly. Thirty-one drawings for the month of October. I tried to work in different styles and colors for diversity. Two more months to go!
