I was in a competitive mood on Thanksgiving and entered my first Facebook contest. Because I "liked" The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA) Facebook page, I learned that they were holding a contest, a "Modern Art Turkey Challenge".
They created and posted to their FB page a turkey image using from bits and pieces of artwork. The challenge was to identify the artist and name of the artworks that made up the turkey image. The person who could identify the most correctly would win a SFMOMA 75th anniversary book/catalogue.
I don't usually join FB contests, but for some reason, I decided to take on this challenge. After extensive research on Thanksgiving morning, I identified all nine pieces and posted the info on FB. It was a great feeling when they confirmed that I won. Now I have a huge, heavy, beautiful book to enjoy!
