I attempt to regularly do something creative, but it's been tricky recently with work being busy and me not feeling well.
All I've done recently is enter a color contest. Yes, a coloring contest for adults! When I was a kid, I used to enter drawing contests all the time, but those opportunities dried up as I got older, so I was surprised when I saw this coloring contest in a magazine!
Coloring those intricate details took more effort than I thought. I'm not sure if the rules allow for it, but I also added some extra accents like the greeting at the bottom and the swirls of heat emanating from the slice of pie.
For me, it's mainly about making sure I make time even if I have to really force it, to be creative, no matter how small the project.
