The museum was bustling with families and the project area was packed with families interested in trying out the activity. This particular project took about 1 hour to complete and required a lot of adult supervision. All seats were taken up. At a certain point, we even had to send people away because we were at full capacity.
We were scrambling from one family to another trying to explain how to assemble the pieces and trying to scrounge up hard to find supplies. I was tired at the end of the day, but also uplifted by the
energy of all the people focused on building this contraption.
