It's definitely difficult and to do well requires me to be present and not thinking about anything else.
What's scary is that to do well, I have to turn off my filter. During the workday, I'm very controlled and think about everything before speaking. It's quite a different story with improv.
I don't do as well as I hope, but I like that it forces me to get away from the computer screen and push the boundaries of my comfort zone. Most importantly, I think it helps me know that it's okay to do something that you're not good at, since that's how you grow and improve.
I need to work on "saying yes and..." and being more bold to have fun. It's hard to keep all these lessons in mind during a scene. You remember to do one thing and forget about the other things...We only have 3 more sessions or so, so not much more time to practice.
