More dancing

Since I finished the Movement class in June and as I've been waiting for another Improv class to start next week, I've been keeping busy with dance classes.

What's nice is that the classes are drop-in, so I get a chance to try out a lot of different classes. So far, I've taking hip hop, modern rhythms (a workout class), Afro-Brazilian, and fusion rhythms (a workout class). Workout classes are more strenuous.

I took the fusion rhythms class today. The instructor is super high-energy and creates a welcoming environment. Unfortunately, there are so many people, I can hardly see where the instructor is. I've discovered that I enjoy watching instructors and get frustrated when I can't see how they're moving. As a beginner, I don't feel right being in the front of the class, but there are just too many people.

Part of the fun of the class is watching the instructor dance. The instructor today seemed like he really enjoyed his work. His dancing is like a celebration and exudes joy and energy.

Being an office worker who sits at a desk typing away at a computer, it's nice to see others have so much fun at their work.
