My grandmother's sister was gifted this ukulele to decorate. She had it for a while, but didn't do anything with it so she asked my sister and me to decorate it for her.
We asked her what she wanted, but she kept on telling us to do whatever we wanted. It was difficult but we tried to explain to her that by her giving us information--something to go on--favorite colors, favorite subjects, etc..., it would make our work much easier. I'm not sure she really believed us, though.
So this is my next project. Most likely, I'll do something colorful, flowers and animals.
